Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, sliced thin
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Season beef with salt and pepper.
  2. 2 Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over high heat. Sear beef in batches. Set aside.
  3. 3 Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and sauté mushrooms until golden.
  4. 4 Add onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  5. 5 Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
  6. 6 Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire, and mustard. Simmer 5 minutes.
  7. 7 Reduce heat to low. Stir in sour cream.
  8. 8 Return beef to pan and warm through. Don't boil.
  9. 9 Garnish with parsley and serve over zucchini noodles.
