Creamy Garlic Parmesan Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. 2 Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 3 Cook shrimp 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. 4 Add remaining butter and garlic to pan. Sauté 1 minute.
  5. 5 Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. 6 Stir in parmesan until melted and smooth.
  7. 7 Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  8. 8 Return shrimp to pan and toss to coat. Garnish with parsley.
